I went to the doctor yesterday because I woke up with a sore eye. It felt like I got punched and it was slightly red and swollen. She prescribed some antibiotic drops as well as oral antibiotics for the next ten days. It was her belief that I have an infected sty, which I had never heard of. I wasn't able to go to work today because my eye was swollen shut and I didn't feel safe driving. Here's to hoping my eye improves tomorrow.
