Final Grades
Chemistry 152 B
Calculus I B
Astronomy A
Astronomy Lab A
STU 210 (transfer class) A
The 'B' in Calculus was the hardest earned B I have ever gotten and I am so extraordinarily happy with it I could cry. On the other hand, the 'B' in Chemistry is still haunting me. I know I could have done better had I not gotten sick and missed so much school right after Spring Break. I am trying not to kick myself too hard since I cannot control when and how badly I get sick, but I know had that not happened that would have been an A.

Final Award for Scholarship (I Swear This Time)
The award was presented in that handy-dandy frame which makes it impossible to scan. Due to this I had to photograph it with my digital camera. If you look closely you can see my reflection.

A Little Ticked Off
I got a call today that the campus President wants me to come to another banquet on Wednesday April 30th @ 3:15 in the afternoon. They have another certificate for me and want me to bring my medal. I agreed since I will be in between classes at that campus anyway. Just when I thought I was all but done with the scholarship stuff, more stuff comes up.
I am drowning in school work at the moment and Matt will be home soon...so when I hear something about the blog, I will let you all know.

Pima Community College Board of Governors Award
As far as I know this is the last event and award I will receive for my scholarship. I sure did manage to drag this out long enough. I found out about winning the scholarship in November and I have been collecting awards, metals, and accolades ever since. It is now time to put the money to use and get my bachelors!
The event was nice and I was surprised to see a fellow student, Kalli, from my math class. My teacher gave her the evening off as well to attend the awards ceremony in which she received a $250.00 scholarship for doing exceptionally well on the AMATYC math test. She (who is Indian and speaks British) and her husband (who is from

One highlight was this letter I received yesterday. I had Matt read it for me because I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. That's right, more money for college!!

Gift for Baby Cuadrado
Honestly, the picture doesn't do it justice...my scanner can only scan a 8 x 10 and this project is 11 x 14. I will probably try to get a better picture once it is complete. I still need to add the baby's name, height, weight, and date born to the white area -- all of which will obviously need to wait until the little bundle of joy arrives!
My next project will probably be a baby blanket for my friends Nicole and Joey who are expecting their third baby in September.
